Overview
Questions and answers

Are there any resturants or snack food on site?

Theres a sub stand a pizza pizza and a couple of other stands that sell hot dogs at 57$ each....

What was the 50/50 number?

For october 30 2017

I see Ottawa is under state of emergency because of flooding. Is Thomas Rhett concert still going on tonight? (April 26/19)

I would think so too, no flooding near that area.

Can I pre-purchase Senators tickets at the door months before the event.

Yes

Are floor tickets for concerts better then other seating?

Almost universally yes. Floor tickets necessarily imply that you are "in front" of the stage as you are where the ice rink would normally be. Side seats can be risky as if they are too close to the stage their view can be obstructed by side paneling or lighting fixtures. 200 and 300 seats perpendicular or behind the stage area are the worst options. Sometimes the 100 seats directly behind the stage are good, but generally only applies to some bands, as pop singers and bands might have video playing behind the stage (in this case back seats will not be available for purchase). In summation, floor seats or even the row seats opposite the stage sre your best bets in terms of having a clear line of sight. Further from the center line you risk partial obstructions. Floor seating is not height adjusted for seats further back so a tall person might also partially block your view. Obviously yhe vip seats close to the stage on the floor ground are the best option.

Are pods seat good?

Yes they are

What time does the arena OPEN

90 minutes before hockey games.

What were the former names of the center? ?

Palladium Corel Centre ScotiaBank Center

Do you guys give Arena tours I am coming for the game against the Islanders next Thursday and I was wondering if you guys give them out?

Go to their website it will give you all the information you want, but to asnwer your question yes they do.

Have visited this arena on more than a few occasions over the years, overall a good place to watch a game. A little off the beaten path, but that's what gives it its charm? Well, kinda. Lots of parking adjacent to the building which is convenient if you drive. Public transit is available if you live near by. Many bars and hotels in Ottawa offer shuttle service for a nominal fee which is great! $10 to ride to and from the game? Done! I have noticed that there are a few more hotels and motels in the area than there were a few years ago, so local rooming options are quite good.Just make sure you use the facilities before you arrive. Line-ups to just get into the building were very long, very slow, and its Ottawa, so very cold. Taking a bus ride, with unexplained traffic from ByWard Market and having to wait in line was not fun.

The water is always freezing and it's a little far out of the core. Otherwise venue has been good for hockey games and concerts. Opinions of ownership aside there is always a great seat no matter where you're sitting. No bad angles

Enjoyed the Brookside Lounge Buffet before the hockey game. It was very, very nice with lots of good delicious foods. And the hockey game was good, even though we lost.

It's a fine arena for hockey. Just wish it wasn't so far removed from the actual city. And the prices for everything are as is to be expected: exorbitant. This is a shame because it would be great to be able to afford to go more than once, or maybe twice a year, but when you consider the total cost of tickets, transportation, parking, concession food and drinks, etc., it can get frustrating enough that I can just also recommend going to a 67s game instead if it's purely the sport you're into. Way cheaper, closer, and close enough to NHL calibre hockey to please most fans.

Saw a Senators game tonight (They won! Yay!) Pre-paid for parking online and that made it very convenient. Even though we were in the upper level, the view was fine. I was quite happy with the seats, and I wasn't uncomfortable during the game. Alcohol was unreasonable priced (as per most sports venues), and as a result they lost a star. Washrooms were clean and I never had to wait in line. Exiting the venue was a disaster though. More direction on traffic flow is needed from staff. People were all over the place and in wrong lanes going different directions. Could be improved.

Always entertaining events. Food is overpriced, as with all stadiums. Seats could be better, they feel designed for people under 5 feet tall.

Can't beat the vibe of an NHL game. Went with friends in a box, good service, to bad they shut the bar down so early. It is expensive for a regular Joe or family just to attend with parking and refreshments not even counting the tickets but still an outing.

Really cool arena! Loved the atmosphere, and the arena had an array of food and drink options. Loved the poutine fries... had the cheeseburger and alfredo chicken (something of the like) and it was SO MUCH FOOD. Great view of the ice in the second tier, and despite the loss, the crowd seemed into it the whole way through.

Enjoyed the Celine Dion concert there. Way to far out of town (Ottawa) but the building was fine. Service from staff was excellent and friendly. The one hundred dollar (return) cab fare was a bit much.

The Canadian Tire Centre is at best an "OK" arena. It seems to lack the energy and excitement other similar facilities are capable of delivering. It is quintessential Ottawa in a nutshell ;)

There have been tremendous advances in this place since it opened. They serve vegetarians in some restaurants in the building too! The wings are very good at the bars for some reason. It is quick to get in and out of and lots of parking.

Why was bathroom water so cold, iceberg cold? Some spectators have illnesses and cold sparks a reaction. The game we went to was excellent. Food and drink were a treat. The Sens shop had what we were looking for. And our 11 year old Sens fan had a wonderful experience.

Getting there was easy...leaving was another story. They would need someone to direct the traffic. The driver ahead of us got out of his vehicle and smoked a cigarette since the lines were not moving. This was a perfect scenario for accidents or conflicts between drivers.

Awesome energy during the Senators games. It's just a bit far from downtown Ottawa, and although there definitely seemed to be public transportation available, the details were difficult to find online.

I have been to a lot of stadiums and this one is very nice. I found there is less do do here durning the intermission. There isn't to many great food choices and no activities compared to other arena's in the league.

The arena itself is nice. The whole place is clean and well kept. The temperature is very comfortably. Lots of food that is surprisingly affordable. Security is quick to get you in. Try to get there by free OC Transpo shuttles if you can because it can take upwards of 45 minutes to get in (and out) from the highway.

Our first time at an NHL game, and Marc's favorite team! It was so much fun and our seats were excellent. We paid roughly 150$ each and we were in section 107 Row N seats 7-8. Basically right behind the opposing teams bench, but Sens shooting twice on that end. Definitely glad we took these seats!!!!!

Parking access in and out is best in lot 4 but also most expensive - but worth it. Very good variety of eateries at the arena. Good sightlines and enjoyable game atmosphere. Much better seat pricing than many of the other major league arenas.

I love this building. There is so much to do inside and for such a large place, it's kept very clean. I do with the security lines were a bit more organized and quicker. My only complaint would be parking which can sometimes be a nightmare. It's not always easy to find a good spot to pick people up as well meaning they often have to walk a bit far.

Great Arena but parking can be a pain. Leaving after a game is a bit of a calamity... a lot of people take the bus for good reason... but inside those walls it's awesome!!
